Papers Please!

Post by JD7 »

Hi, I just received my copy of Papers Please! - Josephine & Ray Cowdery.

Does anyone have tips/sources on documentation references that they would not mind sharing?

many thanks

Ebay is good. If you are looking to reproduce something, buy the item, make detailed copies and then sell it on - you can usually recover at least your initial expenditure. I try and work mainly from originals if possible.

get hold of a copy of papers please for an overall idea of paperwork - unless someone can provide alternative sources ?

It covers a wide range of German paperwork - although not fully detailed it may get you started on trying to find real copies on ebay/dealers etc, depending what your looking for.

Hope this helps? I'm sure more folks with more in the know would pass on info also.

Good luck

Wehrpass or
A Collector's Guide to World War II German Wehrpasses and Soldbuchs by Emilie Caldwell Stewart, are good ones. can be quite difficult to get hold of as i think they were run on a limited press. but you could try this link.
