Spearhead on EBay

Post by mutabornomine »

Tag alle zusammen!
I have seen a shirt on Ebay, the shop of Spearhead Militaria from Singapore.
I have ordered there before, but it is always a bit of a surprise what the item will be...will it fit...what is the material like...
Does anybody know who in UK sells Spearhead repicas? Is there a shop where I can see the items (and then buy in the shop or order from Singapore)
Schöne Grüße

I don't know who supplies Spearhead, but if you're looking for a UK retailer, I'd recommend Epic Militaria or Richard Underwood.

You have to go through Spearhead, they do not supply their kit to anyone else.

I got my A10 flight jacket from Spearhead, its just like an original. Id certainly buy from their American range again. Ive not ordered anything German from them, but their leather jackets look pretty cool.

I have a lot of stuff which doesnt really fit: Panzertrousers just a little bit short (but nearly right), sidecap half a size too big (perhaps I can stuff it out with some paper), oakleaf tunic too large but the top button too neat so you cant close it (looks cool if i leave it open), parachuter trousers a size too big (but they didnt have it in my size), shirts with pockets much too low, .........
All these small mistakes that you think you can live with and anyway I can sew it and correct it myself. And i dont want to send it back because actually i want the item - but then later i dont use the stuff because it doesnt really make me happy :-(
I have spent some money on things that I am not really happy with.
Good quality and great price and.....well if you just stand normally, nobody will realize that the sleeves are a bit short.......

You can buy the identical peadot uniform in
Hong Kong (ANT-Z Militaria for less than 120 USD) or in
Detling (800 GBP and I am not joking) or on an
internet shop (different prices there, but the print I am talking about is usually sold as top copy at the upper end of the price range)

Same product!

"You pay cheap, you get cheap"?
I think it is possible to get good quality at a good price.

I think you should post some links or some evidence to support that?
Ant-Z dot is not the same as any 'upper end' dot I have seen.
Here are some good copies and Ant-Z last version.

Which 'upper end' suit are you talking about for £800?

thats an open ended statement :) a good price can be anything but not cheap because ' Christ, that was a good deal' becomes ' Sh*t dude, that was cheap* :) hehe Then it goes ' dude, what happened to that tunic' reply 'it fell apart' , so then the other guys go 'thats what you get when you buy cheap sh*t'

so, after that bullsh*t talk i just gave, 'You want cheap, you get cheap' :) :) but only applys to 'new; as you can get some REAL bargains from other reenactors :)

ANT-Z / Pirschen is no longer selling direct. The website has been down for months. Apparently Chris Hobbs will soon be the UK supplier for Chen's product.

Soon? I thought he had been for a while.
