The only 2 items I can confirm that were issued were the military style Kennkarte and, for the army, a "Einsatzbuch für Stabshelferinnen des Heeres". There was an SS equivalent, but I've only ever seen 2 and they are not cheap - they were "Einsatzbuch für Helferinnen des SS". I don't know anyone who reproduces these.

The latter document was a DINA6 sized book with 24 pages. It gave essentially the same information as a Soldbuch in the first half. The second half contained the regulations for auxillaries.

Other than that, paperwork carried would be the usual passes and permits as per any other service person.

Hope that helps a bit

Hi Dave

Do you have any scans that I could copy to make one, or could you make me one and supply?

I can do a Kennkarte, no problems.

The Einsatzbuch für Stabshelferinnen des Heeres is a bigger problem - I have the first section, but the latter section with the regulations is a mystery to me - I have seen an original, but I don't have a copy of the text! If someone can get me the text, I'll have a bash. In the meantime, I may have an alternative - I'll have a look and see if Hlferin were ever issued them.

PM me your address and I'll send you a Kennkarte. I'll tell you how to complete it as well (or see me at Twinwoods or Cliveden)
