Wow, ok, looks like a few people might be interested. The price is £25 per pair, but that includes Postage & Packing etc. I can accept Paypal or bank transfers (or cash sterling or UK cheques). PM me with size requirements etc and we'll see what we can sort out. No returns for sizing issues though, these are sold purely as historic collectables, I just happened to get a bale of them that were all different sizes, I'm not a sutlers store

Forgot to mention, these are in original, unissued depot-stored condition (albeit for 60-odd years!)

Last Sunday I have found at a miliaria fair in Turin /Italy long johns in unissued, mint conditions, with Rb's number.

I will post pictures soon.

What puzzles me is that it has a very long fly opening but it is fastened by one button only, at the waistband.

The inside is slightly fleeced.

But it would be of interested for sure to see as many pictures as possible of the underwear used by the German Forces.

This is correct, albeit very uncomfortable. When wearing that style of underwear there is no way to stop your dick from hanging out. However I've never seen or heard of fleeced insides. or RBnr'ed Italian gear.

The Swiss ones that Sportsmans Guide is selling is damn near identical. They are also very good representations of civillian underwear. I picked up a dozen pair of this in Switzerland a year ago, and they were all dated in the 30s! The earlier models are made of a wool cotton jersey material and reinforced with cotton muslin. Cut them off just above the knee if you want summer style
