religion in SS soldbuch

Post by John Wilson »

Has anyone seen an example of an SS paybook with the religion bit unmarked or was it not an option? I'm just curious to know what would have been marked in a paybook of a recruit who was non-denominational.

I know they used "gottlos" (atheist) and "gottglaubig" (basically agnostic or deist) in Heer books, and I'd imagine the same terms crossed over into SS usage.

Well no actually :? If you've got any that are unmarked that would be good, although have you got any examples of non-German paybooks?
