Righ i have got myself a very nice oakleaf smock off franz repper from here to go with a pair of oakleaf trousers .
My question is that looking through the pages and pages on the net i seam not be able to find much about both being worn together by a gren of the W-SS , i know that the oakleaf jacket was only for NCO's and above to wear and the Dot44 was for any rank , but can anyone share any light on the wearing of both together (oakleaf) as all i can find is pictures of camo tops and field grey trousers .
No it's not a fashion statment i want to look correct , as untill i can get a book of the W-SS uniforms i am dependent on your kind and trusted guidence

Oak jackets and trousers were produced as a suit
it was a stop gap before the dot 44 came in and was
for all ranks though mainly produced with autumn side
showing and not reversible like a smock or tank overall
oak trousers are see with smocks though not a common look
also oak trousers and field grey tunic is seen a lot

If you're proposing to wear this combination whilst re-enacting it would be very wise to consult the SBG permitted kitlist and also a SNCO within SBG.
I can not recall ever seeing SBG Gren. wearing oak trou with smocks.... it is as you say usually feldgraus or dot.......
