Re: Art?
I like your drawings Erik! They have a nice battlefield drawn quality to them.

Thank you Sam, I need to practice more on faces. You seem to have a very nice quality as in letting grays flow over into each other.SchutzeHagemann wrote:I like your drawings Erik! They have a nice battlefield drawn quality to them.

Re: Art?
Thanks Erik! What I do is shade in the darkest areas that require a black, dark pencil. Then I go and do the next darkest in shade and then blend where the colours meet. It works 9/ 10.

Re: Art?
Nice drawings Erik & Sam - they do have that drawn on the battlefield look about them, which I like. Little tip for you -try to workout your darkest areas first and down shade from those - remember with pencil we can always go back a re-shade or take away. I use a B2 to fully shade when I start and can go as dark as B8 for the black. Use the H pecncil for fine detail the darken accordingly.
Hope this helps ya.
Keep up the good work fellas!![Smile :-)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Hey John,
The one beneath here is very well done, I like the way you drew the glasses!

Thanks Eric - I teach art part time at a Secondry School and it's great to see the kids pick up the pencil and use it the way they do. Gives me as much satisfaction as doing a drawing myself.erikbozwo2 wrote:Hey John,
