Brilon was as far as I can ascertain, in precinct 17. It is slightly vague as I don't have definitive boundaries but this is, on the balance of probabilities, the most likely one.

Hildesheim was in precinct 7, subordinate to Hannover.

I hope you don't mind me adding this dave but I thought it might be useful if anyone is unsure of the area numbers, also it may help in making sure that it's Roman numerals that are used.
I'm not saying it will happen, but there could be a chance of somebody mixing up II(11) with 2(II).
Anyway, stick to the good work, it's appreciated.

I am busy with filling in the soldbuche for every one in the studygroup.

OK, Wuppertal is a hard one as it's a main polizeipräsidien and has 17 subordinate precincts, 3 of which cover Wuppertal itself (3, 4 and 7). JUst to make matter more complex, the information I have is before 1940 when Wuppertal was still part of Rhine Province (it became part of Eupen-Malmedy after 1940 I think).

The options you therefore have are:

Wuppertal/25/3/130/6
Wuppertal/25/4/130/6
Wuppertal/25/7/130/6

depending on what part of town you want to come from! I will have another look at some other info, but it's a bit blurred for that area, to be honest.

That would be the West-North-West part of Wuppertal.

Could be 3 or 4 in that case.
