This came from Llkka Nummelas thesis the wars of 1939 to 1952 the Financial burden placed on Finland to pay off her two wars Winter war,Continuation war and the lappland war and another result was that Finlands land area shrank by 12%

Damage to neutral zone along the eastern border 83,100,000
The destruction of Lappland..................622.200,000
War damage to Merchant navy..............71,100,000
War reparations and other similar burdens..3,408,000.000
Extra administrative costs..........................1,096,800,000
Compensation for life................................1,150,800,000
Ceded areas.............................................9,591,300,000
Total in EUR 28,466,700,000

Oh yes we did We (Finland) was the first and only contry to pay back what it owed the U.S

Not quite, GB paid off the yanks last year. This takes nothing from the fact that the Finns paid fully, on time and never missed a payment.
