The best of the Wurst!
The best of the Wurst!
Hallo und Grüsse Kameraden dudes!
This is your local armchair culture vulture climbing back into his pram.
(Sorry guys semi private joke!)
Due to a slight cyberaltercation which took place recently I have come up with a stupendous idea!
I would like to CHALLENGE allcomers at each and every show attended this year.
The premise of the challenge is to find the best sausage at each event!
I don't need to be there for this to take place. You can challenge each other and the winner can be posted on here.
The rules.
You select what you think is the best sausage you can find before an event.
This can be English, German, Any Nationality. It can be home made.
Supermarket, Farm Shop, Iceland - You name it.
You bring the said items to a show and on the appointed evening (Saturday alrigfht for everyone?) You cook your sausage (fried, grilled, boiled but no microwaving!) and slice it into little circles (Like you see on the taster counter at ASDA) and offer them to your peers.
At the end of the challenge the assembled multitude publicly pronounce their favourite - The winner emerges and we post the result on here.....
We then post the type, composition, Nationality and flavour of the winning wurst. Availability and vendor along with price can be submitted too and I think much fun can be had by all.
As it is a sausage tasting competition, KP1 are most welcome to partake!
WHADDYA THINK? BITTA FUN? WHO'S IN?

*LOL* LOVE the Wurst case. (I believe the one everyone's calling a turd is Blutwurst and that's good stuff!)
Don't forget the Wurst that can be eaten cold and doesn't require refrigeration for those summer events, like Landjaeger!
Here's a beginner's guide to German sausage.
