They are called lurkers - They slip in in dead of night and read what we active people put. Sometimes they go away and report back to people.....

Remember also - Not everyone is always who they say they are.....

but you can browse the forum whether you are registered or not! I guess these people think maybe they'll be able to access hidden areas?

and yes, as an admin I am on the watch for people mascerading. For instance I have been told to watch out for a total troublemaker from AFRA ...

Hmmm i dont know what the answer is...but i do think people do like to join and then lurk.

But then again if people have not got nothing to add or say then what can you do...you can not force them to post, just thinks its one of those things and a downfall of having a public forum.

If no-one posts after they've joined the forum, you could always dump them off! That or they have nothing to contribute. They'd be better off as guests.
