Were round Fieldpost stamps ever used in stamping the photos on the inside cover of the Heer Soldbuch?

Working on my Soldbuch and not sure what stamp to use on the photo corners.

The round stamp used on the photo was usually the unit stamp (usually training or recruitment unit nor field unit).

Paul

The order to include a photo in each Soldbuch as a security precaution was not issued until November 16, 1943. That order stated that photos had to be in the books by April 1, 1944 for training units and Dec. 31, 1944 for combat units. Prior to this time there were no photos used, the exception to this was the Kriegsmarine which required photos to be in their Soldbücher with a regulation from September 1941. Most Heer and SS books did not have photos until 1944. The stamps on the photo should be from the soldier's unit at the time the photo was added. If the soldier was in a field unit in 1944, the stamps on the photo would be from the field unit and certainly could have been generic Feldpost number stamps.
