Deutsche Reichsbahn impression

My new uniform, German State Railways 1935-1945.
It took me two years research, I had the jacket
made at the tailors from original photographs, the buttons
and insignia are original from 1937.

Very unique and impressive uniform Bill! Would love some Close ups of the buttons. What about the cap and insignia? Where did you get that?

It took my about a year to collect the correct insignia on German e-bay, I will post some more pics later.

Here is a film clip from our museum in Germany, where I will be mostly using the uniform......

Hey Bill, that's some really great stuff!

Not trying to take advantage but would it ever be possible to get some other reenactors together there for a photoshoot and some clips to be taken for the movie I am doing?

How do poeple react in general to the "forbidden symbols" there?

I have discussed this so often over the last ten years, there are several old threads
covering this topic, sorry, I do not wish to go over old ground again.

Hi Dave, it would be great to get together, you as a German policeman etc and reenact German Home Front for a photo shoot.

Bill, sorry, didn't wish to annoy, I was more curious due to the harmless nature of the civilian use of it, just curious if it was more accepted.

Dave, Schuster militaria will make you a nice custom pair, around 280 USD for top quality. Might want to consider it...

Here you go Dave :)

Just ask him and he'll make the ridding boots in brown for you. He specialises in anything cavalry as he's a cavalry reenactor himself.
