Help with photo content

Hi Guys,
wonder if anyone can help regarding this pic of Guderian taken during the surrender of the 116th in 1945.

What is the guy to the rear of Guderian wearing.

ls it by any chance an M43 Panzer Coverall in Splinter Pattern camo ? ? ?.

On the man's shoulder I see rings such as those in SS Camo - it reminds me of Palmenmuster - but the strange shadowing on the arm excludes more detail..... An interesting observation on a photo I have seen many times but never noticed......

Odd isnt it.

Also noticed that the pleat in the middle of the breast pocket appears to go all the way down to the waist band.

Didnt think that Coveralls had pleated pockets. Could this be a private purchase etc.
