Well you should of made that a bit more clear in your first post as Lufty covers alot of area FJ Stug crews used Luftwaffe insignia ie the yellow collar tabs with the birdys on as well as the Luftwaffe adler (eagle)SplinterB wrote:Is that hg? Re: Stug Crew impression
If you mean steel helmets then yes they were Standard issue to all arms of serviceSplinterB wrote:Cheers. One other thing tho, would crews have helmets?
Re: Stug Crew impression
Crews were issued stug wrap(which was issued without insignia) and trousers( both Wehrmacht style), and a feld grau M43 with insignia. Some had collar tabs, some had not. Normal FJ helmets were used. Shoulder boards were normal feld blau with yellow waffenfarbe. Hope that helps. I have put together an impression as well.

Re: Stug Crew impression
I think proper insignia for FJ Stug would be:
- yellow collar patches with red piping around
- shoulderboards with red piping
- yellow collar patches with red piping around
- shoulderboards with red piping
