No. That's why uncontrolled showing off with potentially dangerous items is unwanted. That's why testosterone fuelled antics can result in mondo embarrasment. And that's why people should treat all things firearm related with care and respect rather than big boys toys.

That can happen with top venting too.
Poor quality conversions of toys never designed for blank fire use.
I wonder why Winmag 9mm was invented?

It looks good, ment to be built to take redtip and runs well on it (it was custom made for him)

Heres an over view of what really happened for all the blank firing " experts' to digest.

The MGC in the clip was using an original MGC front barrel nut which broke under the pressure for firing.
UK front venting MGC's because of UK legal requirements are converted differently to this example, so what you saw will never happen to a UK legal BF. The MGC in the clip was fitted with a new steel nut and has fired thousands of rounds without fault.

Why, if it was custom built to run on Red tip, then use redtip. That will stop you moaning and complaining that the gun is faulty when it wont run correctly.

This is what happens when you rely on the MGC Zinc nut or dont have a custom steel barrel welded to the trunnion.
A semi open MGC barrel / nut will be 34 years old at least and will not take this sort of action.

or better still buy a custom made MP38/40

front venting MP40s are not bad at all...

Why is it that whenever I see a fallschirmjaeger, they are always standing in that ridiculous pose when they shoot.
