If I get enough interest, we're going to be reenacting the Finnish 6th Independent Sapper Company, a reserve formation that missed the Winter War but served right through the Continuation War until 1944, usually fighting alongside their German Allies (163rd & 169th ID and SS GbD 'Nord'). The fact that the 6th were a reserve formation means that we would have a wider choice of kit (M27 uniform items as well as M36) and would also get over the authenticity problem with older/wider reenacters like myself.
I've recently got a source in Finland for repro uniforms, and I'm waiting on a sample to check out their quality.

Ooh, I feel such a fool! All I can say is, as an old school punk, I pay no attention to Eurovision. Still, it's a step in the right direction, when a Finnish Death Metal band can win! If only someone would kill that smug w@*ker Wogan...
