Re: Torn Eb wanted
Yup:
This is the telescopic mast antenna, variant A. It is an 9 metre tall antenna which can either be used mounted on a vehicle or free standing. It extends by means of a crank at the bottom which operates a series of wires - it can be fully extended in about 20 seconds with minimal effort. My antenna is currently undergoing restoration, but is fully operational.
The picture above shows the asset plate on the base of the mast. It's labelled 'Kmg Ausf A' (kurbelmastgerät, Ausführung A - telescopic mast, variant A. The picture below shows the spirit level used for levelling the mast during free standing set up.
This is the antenna mounted on the rear of my Kfz61 funkwagen (the white objects to the right are the earthing spikes for the vehicle chassis).

Re: Torn Eb wanted
I've got some drawings somewhere as I had those brackets made for me. Basically the upper one rotates left and right and the antenna can swing front to rear in the cradle. The lower supporthas a metal bar that moves front to rear by about 6" and the bar can be rotated along this axis. This allows the antenna to move through a complete circle at the base, so it can be leveled up correctly.kettenkradlad wrote:Hi Dave,

The antennas do come up for sale on eBay occasionally. They are very heavy (30kg+) and about 2m long when retracted so shipping can be expensive. Expect to pay around £700-900 for a decent working example at the moment. There are Bundy variants that look 'sort of similar' which are cheaper.

Re: Torn Eb wanted
Torn Eb is merely a training wire antenna on a metal winding frame. Fud2 is a base loaded antenna which slots onto the top of the set. The 6 pole sections clip into the lid of the accessory box and the foot goes in the same box.
I've had a couple of requests, so here's the internal shots of the truck. It's a work in progress (these were taken in the summer on my phone) and it's now got a lot more fittings and wiring inside.
Front bench. This is where the 100WS and KwEa sets are mounted; all the power equipment is underneath. The rough paint line is actually on masking tape! Underneath the bench. Batteries are on the left under the drawer and the dynamotor for the 100WS on the right. The 2B38 batteries are used to power the Ew.d dynamotor for the KwEa set (the dynamotor is mounted on the wall above the desk). The void on the lower left is for a box of spares and the void on the right for a 10 man catering set! The lower part on the far side is a locker accessible from the outside and contains all the spare wires, ropes etc. for the antenna. Looking towards the rear door. There is one locker each side. The lower half is accessed from the outside (this one would have the c100 generator, spares and fuel in it). The upper part has, as can be seen, the wire reeler and 2 phones on the lower shelf. The middle shelf has signal back pack 2 and the upper an Enigma machine and rotors box. The right side is exactly the same, except the lower part has various spares and accessory boxes. These are the externally mounted poles used for the counterpoise antenna when the vehicle is static (when it is in motion, the chassis is used). The central locking bar isn't yet attached in this photo.
