Involved as I am at "Bang level" my advice seeing as the numbers are becoming large is that you organise a proper command structure top down - Yourself as Allied CO and Andy as Axis CO - then some "Divisional COmmanders (i.e. in the case of Jerry - Heer, FJ, SS) and then Company Commanders - Have a chain of "Command" down which to pass orders otherwise this could be a flustercuck.......
Marvellous support though....... Already looking at organising our team accordingly. Pyro Director, Team Leaders and Teams..... So some of you non battlers with pyro experience - get ready for the call.....

Ok boys I am away for 10 days now

am looking at getting a working party together on Sat 14th August we could always camp out and make a weekend of it(i'll bring some disposable bbq's!!!)

Ok thanks to fellow Rangers JJ and Olive we have dug so far 5 large foxholes/trenches and one command bunker on Allied lines and 6 foxholes (large) and trench on German lines. We have also dropped trees to form natural cover throughout so thats the hardwork done - these can be added to as required - we will still have further working days up there so its looking very very good and atmospheric. Olive will post some pics up later

The woods are very dark and foreboding and are actually a lot thicker than the camera shows.
The terrain runs on a slight slope from Axis towards Allied lines - heavily wooded running as follows:-
Axis rear HQ ,Axis main front Line,Nomans land,Axis probe/forward positions,another stretch of no mans land,Allied front line leading to Allied rear. At the moment we are only using one half of the forest and the area is huge!!!!!
Nick,Paul - yep definately very Huertgen and as always your support is always appreciated.
Martin no worries there some of the FJ boys are going down for a training weekend with Andy and will expand the German positions so grab your e-tool (I'll be on hand with the minidigger!!!)

Kenny thanks for your groups confirmation always nice to have a good medic section on board - I have a lovely spot behind the lines for your field hospital - expect plenty of business (Axis and Allied)!!!!!

Can I ask everyone to get their weapons reserved with John asap (hireandfire) as he is getting booked up very quickly for this one!!! I will also discount heavy weapons to both sides for your main bunker/trench positions. I have a further work party going out on Sat 25th sept led by "Olive" and co to extend both lines due to numbers!!!!
All we need is snow on the ground that weekend and should be perfect.
Scenarios to be posted shortly along with a general warning order as usual.
