Hi, just registered!

I have recently just joined the SBG (who I hope to meet at Detling on Monday). I'm 36, a soldier (S/Sgt, Royal Engineers) and have had an interest since I was a kid. Saw a lot of you all at the War & Peace show and thought why in hell had I not got into this earlier! ( and I collect imperial/3rd Reich militaria - doh!)
Just selling all my fishing gear on 'flea-bay to get myself kitted out. Hope to meet and speak to many of you on monday, I will be the 6'4'' geordie (with big ears) in my civvies!

Hi Steinmetz, welcome to the forum and re enacting.

Your not alone their are a lot of servicemen/ex servicemen in re eanacting. Some of us dont know when to quit.
