New DAK group.

Post by Schäfer »

Due to the fact that a significant number of our members are either leaving the hobby altogether or moving onto other things, the remainder of our group have decided to permanently portray DAK as from January 2013. Some of you may recall that DAK was our occasional second portrayal.

Anyway, if anyone wishes to join us as permanent members, or if anyone wishes to guest with us at events, providing they don't clash with your group's normal events, then please drop me a line either on here, via our U-Boat forum or via my e-mail address (kevinjslade@aol.com) for further details.

Best wishes,

Kevin.

Just seen this post Kev.

Shame about the U boat portrayal, does mean the U boat society is no more ?

Congrats on the Dak portrayal and it's expansion. Best of luck Kevin.

I look forward to seeing you in the new season.

regards,

nelz.

Hi Nelz,

Unfortunately, with only 8 full members left and with all the work and logistics that go with the U-Boat display and portrayal, we decided to go with our secondary DAK portrayal full-time for next year. We are looking forward to it very much and already we are full of ideas and enthusiasm for the new season. We have also had a number of enquiries from potential new members.
Take care and we'll see you next year.

All the best,

Kev.

Always good to see DAK and there is not enough of it around due to your European Climate I guess.
We do Ramcke here in Australia so the climate is perfect.

Hope to see some of your pics next year Schäfer

Hi Les, you are always welcome, whatever we do and wherever we go, you know that?

I'm not one to stand idly by, we all need to improvise and move on with the times when necessary. Besides, this has always been my favourite portrayal so I'll give it my all for the next few years.
