I would class this as a 42 rather than a 43, 5 button, no pleats, pointed pocket flaps.

And Heer not SS John W?
The HBT 4 pocket tunics were issued to the army in some numbers and in a couple of variations.
That could also be a tropical tunic?

You're right enough Stiggie ye old humper of amps, it would be fair to assume that some army tunics found their way onto SS bodies though?
You may have a point about it being tropical though, but were the tropical ones not all open neck?
The picture seems to show an opening for a fifth button.

I have a Panther store set of work Drillich and the are fantastic and very hard wearing
