The "Leiber" pattern has really exist, also winter jackets and trousers exists. How Sheik allready said, winter clothing was often not longer reversible at the end of the war (exceptions prove the rule). But the worst crime, is the copy of the camouflage pattern ! At the first view, it looks like the "Leiber" design, but on the second view.... it is pure fantasy (like almost all camouflage from the Far East). I must close my eyes, it hurts me to much.... Arrrgh ! Prof. Schick would turn around in his grave. The only good copy of the "Leiber" pattern is availabale at Zeugmeisterei and Tuhringen-militaria.

Depends what you want to do and what front you are doing! Liebermuster seems to be mostly worn by units fighting in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria! No good for a West front impression!

It is only known to be distributed to 1 WH Jäger division and 1 Latvian SS unit.

Not quite true! Some flak units were issued with it! It cant be said with total certainty that no one else was issed with it in the theatres I mentioned, as a lot a late war paper work and photos were destroyed, in the end we depend on the victors!

They are great pics ! I always found myself thinking the fate of those men, A slow death in a Russian prison camp no doubt!
