The mantel is from Pirschen. Stadler and I bought both directly from China when he still did individual orders.

Dutch re-enactmentshop 'Der Panzerknacker' regained comminucation with Pirschen. Sjoerd (owner of the shop) can probably get it for you if you want ;)

You are right, this is the shop I meant

When you want something just mail and order it through him, because he don't and won't have much in stock ;)

Chen has his Luftwaffe M40 Greatcoats on sale for $55.00 US. Pretty good deal I think

I ended up purchasing a M42 Luftwaffe greatcoat from Gavin. Upon arrival, I found the color a bit dark but nice quality. The coat however, lacked a number of details when compared to my original. No neck closure, buttons running slanted towards the middle and the cut of the front was biased running on an angle. I contacted Gavin and emailed photos of my original compared to his copy. He worked out a compromise with me and was a gentleman in all respects. I hope that he corrects the details in future coats.
I've since picked up an ANT-Z Luft greatcoat (old stock purchased by Hessen) The quality was good but the material was coarse and thin. I am for the most part satisfied. As much as alot of reenactos complain about Sturm, their greatcoats are well done IMHO. I just wish they made a Luftwaffe one.

Yes, accidents can happen, and yes, they don't just happen either.
