Feldman, I would suggest that you would use couple of utility strapts, place them together and tie the canteen strap to them. After that, place the canteen inside the parka to hang it from your neck. That way your body warms the canteen and the water won't freeze ;)

Lentz, you should join the Stug weekend dressed as that, it does look good!

Yes, i know, but thanks for the tip.

I have been skiing on the Swedish/Norwegian mountains with my real army unit in snowstorm, digging in, sleeping in Biwak. So learning things like that can be decisive. Good tip.

No haha, Im not the lady in red. She was a model from London if I remember right. She was very nice.
