Awsome woodhatcher!!!
I love that you have no "special items" like tropical webbing or such, just standard and great...

Re: Show us you!
Why repaint? If the colour is wrong I understand. but I think a reenactor that resists the sexy camo helmet and goes with a plain old standard one shows some quality! (For what is worth- I gave in, and I am not sure I should have, even though lots of camoed Luftwaffe helmets exist.)

And shouldnt the straps of your Sturmrucksack be other way round? (both ends should point downwards)
Super Impression!

Very nice, you can't go wrong with a plain helmet.
The rucksack straps are meant to be that way up. Looks odd but that's how they were attached at the factory.

That's a great look, well done! Colour of the helmet looks fine to me although perhaps a little too shiny.

Re: Show us you!
Thank you all for your feedback.
The helmet is normally not this shiny, don't know how it looks like on these pictures.
But I will try to give it a dirtier look on the next event.
I know that the mess tin is not an original, Unfortunatly, they make not a good reproduction of it.
Its a better alternative then the those wrong bundeswehr models and beter to eat from then most originals (that are also very pricy).
That are the main reasons that our group uses these mess tin's.
@Tommy : The overcoat (and M43 trousers) are a Sturm replica and my M42 jacket is from Gavin, My jacket, trousers and overcoat were acquainted with my roofing burner at work . It give's them a more edgy and bether look than when you buy them.
Anymore feedback (positive or negative) will be well appreciated!
Kind Regards, Vincent

Re: Show us you!
Your impression is up there with the very best there is but is being detracted by the mess tin, go the extra mile and replace it, an original wont poison you. I've one for sale
A single '44 pouch would complete the picture.
Well done!

That jacket is not mine but from our group responsible.
He bought it from Erik Suijkerbuik from "Der Windhund".
Kind regards, Vincent.
