Wonderful Haflinger! Had one myself a few years ago. Mulfa was her name (I called her Leila). M because it was a M-Line Haflinger where all Stallions name start with a M. I could trace back her "ancestors" up 'til Marengo, a stallion born in Austria 1936!!!!Heeresbergführer wrote:Grüß Di' Bergkameraden,
Here's me with my friend "Fancy." She's an Austrian Haflinger mountain horse. A standard Gebirgsjäger division would have 500-600 Haflingers, about 1500 horses, and about 5000 mules.
Nice! My unit is actually in the process of changing over to Grossdeutschland. Infantry regiment, 6th Kompanie.Hans Gowert wrote:a year to this month, i crossed over from the 2nd rangers to Grossdeutschland
