Re: Regimentet - Winter training
Nice photos! I really like the way you guys look (and the fact that you are Heer instead of SS and doing it nicely!)
I wish we would get this many people in Finland as well, but I guess the compulsory military service kinda kills the interest in any soldiering for most people
By the way, does the medic have white shoulder boards? I thought they all had the blue ones.

Great impression, like it!
Only the medics from the Sanitätsabteilung use the blue waffenfarbe, the medics in the other units (from infantery regiments to the pzjager) use the waffenfarbe of their units branche. Not your trade but your unit makes which kind of waffenfarbe you need to wear.Peter Bauer wrote:By the way, does the medic have white shoulder boards? I thought they all had the blue ones.

That's what I thought before! It's so much more logical, but I was told by "someone who knows better" than it's not like that and I never bothered to actually check the fact (well actually the quick look around internet said that all medics were using blue, but I couldn't find proper sources). Thank you very much for this little info!rednas wrote:Great impression, like it!

We also made a little video:

First part is from the beginning of a lesson in formations. The second is from the camp.
