if you want to ignore health and safety loose half your teeth and not buy a drink all night this is the place to go.

Some serious fun to be had and I was the only english speaker there, fantastic

Ps original Famo, orignal 251, 2 schwimmwagens, several kubels, 4 mock tigers based on T34s, 6 half tacks based on ot810, 3 artillery pieces, a flamenwerfer that actually worked and a bloke in a beetle/kubel contraption that new absolutely no fear when it came to cutting up T34s in a soft skin vehicle

plus some russian stuff

Wow, lots of vehicles, must have been a great party? How many people did you have there? Were all locals or did you have foreign visitors as well?

forgot to mention, I am going again next year, if any one wants to come along or indeed a group let me know and we can organise it.

Its only a 1 day show, but beer at 30p a pint for the best lager you will ever taste and more hot women than you can shake a stick at - not that I can se why shaking a stick would impress then but who knows!! - it really is a good laugh, and although there are luls in the battle it is pretty impressive. The russian reenactors seem to have no concept of danger either

There were 4 of us on a BMW R75 going flat out being chased by a T34 loaded to the hilt with infantry - it was a bit disconcerting

Ah the spirit of the Indian Munity ........... probably not the most PC comment I have ever made but one which is not meant to cause any offense. ( Honest!!).

2 years ago give or take a few days

but it happens each year around abouthte same time as Detling
