Winter battle - Movie

Post by bov1313rf »

It tooks one year to get allowance from national TV to put a this battle scene on youtube;

as already said, Slovenian national TV made a 1 hour documentary movie about our reenacment club Triglav, which culminated
with winter battle in heavy snow conditions. In spite that we already presented some photos,
it might be interesting to see movie as well and famous Czech flame-thrower in action....

Movie was not done by sequences, but battle was shooted as it was, without and pause....

It's partly in Slovenian language (and please don't look on German grammar), but you'll get the point.

Pavel

P.S. Partisan, who was shot by firing squad at the end as a German unteroffizier who deserted to partisans. And we juts have to shoot him as we captured him alive. He was warned in advance....

Great shot! Very good movie, except one thing which was a pity to see... During the "Lagebesprechung" held by the Germans one of your comrades wore modern glasses, besides that excellent and very professional - German grammar wasn't that bad btw
Kind regards Fritze

Hello Fritze,

thanks for nice words, especially about my German grammar; I'm trying to improve myself, but...

Concerning glasses; I agree of course; however in that time we were not able to fond others;
in the meantime our young officer had exchanged his new glasses for old ones, which he had to adopt with appropriate lens.

Here are some pics with "new" old glasses, at Panzerfaust training. It was amazing to shoot with panzerfaust (we shot hours and hours). The head didn't explode at the target, but the filing was anyhow great. panzerfaust come from same Czech group as flamethrower; crazy guys these guys from Gardekorps, but good friends. (and drinkers)

Well it flies pretty far, i'd say as far as 50m maybe?

Head is made out of somekind soft rubber, so its not dangerous to others.
