Re: Does anyone play Flames of War , Wargame
I have a collection of 15mm ww2 wargame minitures I used to play with as a kid.
Re: Does anyone play Flames of War , Wargame
Im building a flames of War German unit at the moment as one of my many wargames projects.
Others are
15mm Ancient Greek army
15mm British AWI
28mm El Cid Moorish army
28mm ancient Germanic army ( which can cover from the fall of the Roman empire to the early Saxon period.)
28mm Wild West Mexicans
The 28mm stuff is based for the warhammer ancient battle rules.
what we have been playing recently at the local wargames club is wings of war which is a WW1 aviation game the planes come ready painted and its easy to pick up and learn and great fun.

I'm currently building an army based on 4.SS-Panzergenadier Regiment "Der Führer" in Normandy. I got into FoW a few years ago but was only really interested in late war, so got back into it with the release of the V2 rulebook. The new miniatures are some of the best they've ever released, the Tigers Marsch box is just bloody gorgeous!
I'm working on a 1750pt Geparte Panzergrenadier army at the moment, I'll post some pics once I've started painting

there the main rules that the guys play at my local wargames club. keep toying with the idea of getting some 20mm ww2 but where does it end

Hello There ,
absolutely where does it end ...however you can still use 20mm for flames of war . I chose F.O.W for its simplicity and ease of play , i found rapid fire (in my opinion) to get totally bogged down by rules , also on the plus side the F.O.W figures are really nice .
With your Glider troops do you have any Gliders ? as i scratch built mine , i found the hardest bit was the cockpit and nose.
