Just reporting in, cracking group right enough!

I was fortunate to be taken prisoner on their display, the Geneva Convention was in full effect with tea being offered.

Not all was good, bourbon creams were not on the agenda!

The Ladies of F.R.A.U. are happy to announce the expanding of their library.
Having had such a positive feedback, we have decided to add more week by week
and not to change pdf files over on a monthly basis.

Latest addition:

"Die junge Dame", October 1940

Enjoy reading!

Kind regards,
the Ladies of F.R.A.U.

Would just like to say the Soldatenheim has certainly captured people's imaginations - I particularly enjoyed my sojourn avec wein und bier und gutes freunden under the tarp...... I hear that you may be extending this to Beltring and I will certainly loan my dining shelter and some tables to enable you to extend it. IF you do some research and come up with this

Then I'm sure I can persuade Greg to allocate you some space!!!!

Here's one I got from Gaissmair.net of a Soldatenheim in Russland

What about adding a Soldatenkino on for Belters?

Well done - food was tasty, baking was super and the endless cuppas were most appreciated by all. I feel that you didn't receive enough recognition for the hard work you put in. So -
Thank you.

Many thanks to all of you that took time out to see what our little soldatenheim was about. it was a pleasure to have each and everyone of you on our display.

We will at some point soon have more pictures of this up on our FRAU website as a diary of an event and the relevant link will be posted here. If anyone has any photographs both of the display and our ladies socialising on an evening, could you please email/pm them to Dink so they can be utilised (if permitted) on both our website and forum (which you're all welcome to join).

Special thanks to PD for the loan of a dinning shelter, Ashley for a dinning shelter and stove, Lucky and his gang for some amazing food, Nordland and company for assisting in enhancing the display, Michaela for her wonderful Edelweis hair salon and of course DR without whose constant support we wouldn't even be here 8) edited to add Matty and his field kitchen (tiredness will take some time to recover  )

Many thanks from all the ladies of FRAU
