Fallschirmjäger group Den Vijand

Post by Pietje »

I joined a Fallschirmjäger Reenactment group called 'Den Vijand' (Der Feind/The Enemy) some months ago so all credits to those who were all ready active reenacting in Holland then... !

They will come as the group has some nice events on the agenda for next year... Stay tuned

Actually most of the time "Den Vijand" re-enact Fallschirmjäger, they aren't a Fallschirmjäger group, but more a Luftwaffe re-enactors group as they also play Luftwaffe pilots and groundpersonel (blackmen)

This year we are going to be at Ypenburg, may 8-9, instead of DOS, as we thought it needed a rest for a year. Otherwise the people would see every year the same stuff.

If you are interested you may always contact Pietje who is member of the board. You need to be in may 1940 outfit off course, wich means sidelace boots and pocketless Knochensack for a starter...

Looking forward to see the photos of it, DOS was always nice to see may 1940 instead of '44/'45. To bad that that weekend is way too full of events
