Living history group "Ostpreußen"

Post by Jooooonas »

Hello everyone!

I will try to introduce my club. First of all, we are based in Lithuania, most memebers are from Klaipėda city, previous German town Memel. We have 14 members. Our club was established one year ago, in 2013. Anyway most memebers are reenactors since 2009. Back then we tried to reenact SS Fallschirmjägers, but, because of lack of good leadership, we stagnated for 4 years. Everything changed in April 2013. We made a huge jump forward, chose a simple group name, improved our uniforms, bought some weapons, learned some field commands, tactics and participated in events across the Europe. Our main directions are SS Fallschirmjägers and Waffen-SS. We reenact LW Fallschirmjägers, Wehrmacht, Soviet RKKA and postwar Lithuanian partisans as well. Hope you will like our facebook page.

Best wishes!

Johannes Albrecht
Leader of the group

P.s. Here are some pictures of our last weekend training and our area, where we have dug our trenches for MG's and GranatWerfer 34.

Put a German soldier into a box. Close it as tight as you can.

Write on it´s top the warning: " DO NOT OPEN! ONLY IN CASE OF WAR!"

By the way, maybe someone has idea, how we could improve our club logo? That black ball with spikes on the top looks a bit weird.
