Our primary unit is a 416th Infantry Division during the time period 1942-1944 when the division was an occupation force in Denmark. All members of the regiment must have a minimum of uniforms and equipment to reproduce an ordinary soldier in the 416th Infantry Division. Our secondary division is 198th Infantry Division, which was the main force in the invasion of Denmark in 1940. We also have some alternative impressions, where we may portray an officer staff with high-ranking officers or the Waffen SS, including the Danish volunteers.

Väldigt Bra Hemsida! Bra att se män som reenactar män från 11.SS 'Nordland'.
Jag reenactar en av de 300 Svenskar som fanns inom Waffen SS.

I am sure Allingsen and the others will not mind seeing this again, it was great to meet them at Beltring last year :D
This was filmed by one of the danish lads when we visited the N44 camping area.

I know its not my buisness how in other countries reenactors deal with "alcohol and swastika" problems, but can You clarify few things to me and tell if it was filmed in visitor open area where common people can see You?

The Danish lads placed it on youtube about 18 months ago, where it still remains for all to see.
The youtube clip has been posted on this forum once before by the guys who filmed it.

It was filmed AFTER 6 p.m. the public had gone home and there were ONLY reenactors on site.

It is policy of all reenactors that no alcohol is consumed until AFTER the public have gone home.

In my opinion guys in ANY historical uniforms, dringing beer/vodka and singing military songs/marches have little to do with reenact and are quite controversial - they havent even got period beer-mugs. BUT as Ive said earlier - its JUST my opinion. Ive respect Yours and Yours view of reenacting.

Believe me - Im far from saying that "In my country/group it will be... bla, bla, bla". It just shocked me a bit - thats all

With best wishes to "Danmark"
Yuri
