They are blue, but I thought they were supposed to be black??? If you are after black ones they do these....(described as "panzer"):

cheers for that, they had both black blue and white from what I understand/have seen.

any dealers in the uk? I did see a pair of black ones but they had gone before I had the chance to purchase them.....

I think the blue will turn black after a few week being an aircraft mecanic (my coverals from work aren't that clean after a day: I keep them on for only two days max to change them for a "cleaned" one)

black mechanics overalls would be better, its why HG eagles get mixed up with Luftwaffe mechanic cap eagles as the mechanic caps are often in black.

Those are made from a 2 piece m40 drillich suit if you look closely. the bottom pockets have been put on the top part of the leg. I think it would just be a visit to a local tailor with a 2 piece m40 drillich, and the picture.
