Early-war Heer uniform (major insignia, Swedish-converted)

Post by sercalius »

Since ebay won't let me sell these there, I've looked high and low for a venue where I could do so and I found this place. Hopefully these items can find a good home to go to. I have a link to an ebay auction for some German field/uniform gear: http://www.ebay.com/itm/151435435339?ss ... 1555.l2649.

Here's the uniform and belt buckle, I'm asking for $125. One of the major's epaulet is torn but I reckon it can be repaired. The pants have a hole in the crotch and the ends of the legs are a little tattered.

Oh, I also have some reproduction/wall-hanger knives/daggers if anyone is interested. I'd sell them for cheap since they are really only good for display. There's a Hitler Youth knife, Luftwaffe, SS officer, and some dagger of unknown origin. (I don't expect to sell these but I figured I'd post them anyway). I'd sell them for $20:

Any questions or requests for more photos feel free to ask. I can be reached easiest at sercalius@gmail.com, but I will check this as often as possible. Also, buyer pays for shipping.

Just realized I forgot to mention the sizes, and I am also located in the United States (east coast).

Tunic:
27" - 68.5 cm, neck to bottom hem (measured from back)
25" - 63.5 cm, shoulder to wrist
20" - 50.8 cm, armpit to armpit

Trousers:
41" - 104.14 cm, waist to ankle (measured from back)
17" - 43.18 cm, waist (measured across)
30" - 76.20 cm, leg length

If other measurements are needed, feel free to contact me. I am also willing to take offers.

Got some original German hobnails here:

East German jackboots:

I know this is an Axis-related forum but I figured I'd put a link up for some US field gear:

I've added some photos to the field gear I have listed on ebay. Still taking offers on the rest. I'd be willing to throw in the belt buckle and daggers for free with the uniform.
