Joki does a very good repro Fallschirm frontlace jump boot, even has the correct double stitching.

Or Richard Underwood http://www.richardaunderwood.com/produc ... cts_id=187

I got these from Richard Underwood http://www.richardaunderwood.com/produc ... ucts_id=90 not perfect, but have lasted me for 4 seasons (including battling!). I had mine hob nailed and had some work done to the heal after some wear and tear.

The boots shown in the original thread are the Lomax boots that appeared in brown last year, must have done a run of black leather for this year.....

These were also displayed at SoF this years W+P show

The groove on the heel looks shite.

ATF do a good reproduction at a reasonable price.

They are sm wholesale boots, I got a pair Cheap from sof as I think they wanted rid of them, I put hobs on them and they aren't too bad, I've a pair of all the second patterns doing the rounds and I wanted a pair to thrash and they fit the bill. They survived a week in beltring rain, mud and everything else so not to bad, I agree the rubber over shoe binding a bit large but I can live with it, they are very comfortable.

I got the cheaper pair that one can normally get for about £115 or so (such as the one from Epic Militaria) and I found that they are great, I used them for private use as well and they have held against pretty much everything. Sometimes price is not what determines what is good. But to add a lot more wear to them, I had a shoe maker apply a thin layer of rubber on the sole and it has made them that much better. Some may groan if I kneel down and one can see the sole, but I swear by it that it's 100 times better to walk with as there's no more slipping around.
