Jump qualification portraits

Post by carentan »

A series of photos I've wanted to do for a while now, fallschirmjager portraits after getting jump qualified. Although the unit we portray did not do a combat jump it was jump ready in Normandy.

Sorry to tell you this Darren but the bottom of your harness is backwards??? not sure how you've done it as the top half looks OK. The ends with the clips on should dangle from behind then pass between your legs and then over the thigh to fasten to the D ring near the hip. There must be a twist somewhere, also T-shirt visible

It's not a T-shirt Paul, it's a turtle neck with non-regulation shirt (Kurtz page 49)

I hold my hands up  It's my Harness and as I have only tried it on once, I'm the one to blame! After a long weekends Tactics training my mind was not on the job, and have therefor demoted myself to Unterjager  Again
