Sorry to bring back an old post, but if more and more companies start making Leibermuster camo, we will see a bunch of reenactors going around in them, which is not accurate.

I asked ATF if they were making any and they gave me a big NO! for the same reason.

we cant really nock it.

Lieber has been availible for a while now and i have only ever seen it worn once and they were just the trousers being worn after an event.

I would love to see it in the right context, like those czech photos. Get a horse drawn cart , about 9 reenactors wearing lieber and normal heer uniforms and mill about.

Or what would be gucci, a post war what if scenario . :)

That would be cool. Get some DDR helmets, Mp44 mag pouches, tropical gear, and we're set!

This could be a good jacket for reenacting March and April 1945, and also suitable for "what if..." events

Has there ever been a serious "What if" event? That would seem absolutely the opposite of what reenacting is, at least, to me

The Barrylydon Leibermuster pattern does not have the "comb" fine line detail so is incorrect. Colors are way off, much too light. I emailed him about the colors and he said he copied the colors off of a very faded set, so the colors look like a 60 year old faded set (even the "unvintaged sets").

This guy makes a much better repro. Pattern is much better and the colors are not faded. Have seen a set of these in person and I like them a lot. the reds in the photos are brighter than in person.
