It's not clear if he is going to be selling direct any more.
He has switched to selling through a dealer in the USA, I'm sure he'll do the same here and in Europe.

I have bought an amount of WW1 and WW2 gear from Ant-Z from his site and ebay auctions. Both, unfortunately, appear to have 'ceased trading', ebay has no gear and the site is "rebuilding".

A pity, as I have found his uniforms excellent value for money and always delivered as promised.

Am a bit perturbed if he is selling through Hessenantique as this company appear to have wierd postage charges. For example I wished to purchase an NCO-style picklehaube for $135 and the postage to Europe, through UPS or something like that, came to almost $80! Correct me if I am misreading/wrong on this but thats what they wanted from my CC.

I recall that some dealers on this forum were distributing his gear but at a premium. Again open to correction on this. :)

Wait until his UK and European dealers are officially confirmed rather than ordering from the US perhaps? I think I am right in saying that Chris Hobbs (Dog Green 1) is going to be the UK seller, so obviously carriage/postage etc will be reasonable then...

Chris will be launching a new website soon so all will be revealed...

Thanks, looks like the question is answered in the last post on this thread: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=13014&p=125098#p125098

I thnk it is a pity that he is changing to having a middle man as I believe, it is a recipe for hassle!

It's both good and bad for the end customer. It's bad because price and possibly delivery times go up. On the other hand it leaves him with more time to develop new and improve existing products.

Delivery times should actually be cut as items will already be in stock here in the UK. Unless it is a custom tailored piece such as Officers clothing then your items should be with you in a couple of days. Also no need to worry about customs charges as they will be coming from Europe. Prices may go up put existing products have been further improved and still offer the best value and biggest range for your money.
