Complete Soldbuch Guide and Translation

Post by gdfuseddie »

After much time, effort and research we are pleased to present a comprehensive Soldbuch Guide which covers the entire Soldbuch in detail. To accompany this manual we also have a complete Soldbuch Translation into English. If you've ever wondered how to fill in a Soldbuch or what the pages of a Soldbuch were used to record, between these two articles your questions will hopefully be answered. The Soldbuch Guide is quite a hefty read, so has been broken down into 4 sections.

Further research into the Soldbuch as a document and other related information is continuing which will hopefully be available later in the year. Happy reading.

Well done to you guys at GD. I'm sure your work would be useful to many re-enactors out there.

I know my group will.
