Das Reich R.G (Spain) Geschlossene Ordnung Ausbildung

Post by Max »

We have been practicing our Drill skills. We are far from perfect, but we are achieving some modest results.

We hope you enjoy the videos.

Loved the marching, I guess I must start practicing that as well :P

By the way, one good tip to learn the rifle movements is to NOT MOVE when you are done with the move, even if you fail to do it properly. When everyone is still but one guy is moving his fingers or hand it shows. But if he is still (even though incorrectly) nobody notices :) A bad position is the best teachers, I for once had to hold a rifle with one hand for 5 minutes because I failed to catch it properly... luckily the president of Mozambik wasn't really interested in us so it wasn't too long ;P

Thank you all for your comments! :) I remember perfectly when I was in the army and as Peter says you ended a movement in a wrong position and you have to keep it until the next order, it was unforgettable.

As you know the real difficult thing with those exercises it's not the individual movement but the whole group performing it at the same time, we are faaaar away from achieving that, but we have progressed a little bit, maybe next year we can hang some better videos.

The “Exerciert Marsch” it’s simpler to perform than I have anticipated, but performing it with the whole Gruppe it’s another story. It’s very very difficult.

Cheers! :)

Looking good, as per the above the only thing I noticed was one of the lads anticipating the drill order, apart from that you looked good!!

Practice makes perfect! The timing is really hard to get right.

I was in the honor guards company and we used to yell a number for each movement in unison, it helped somewhat. As well as doing the moves in parts, so that you would always stop for 2 seconds between every move. And still before every parade we had to practice 2-3 hours to be able to perform well. It's hard work :D

But I do love the effort, more people shoul practice drilling :)

In the British army during training we say " One-Two-Three-One " Each movement is carried out on One . When you come over to Finland I will show you
