My name is Sam, a member of the United States' national Leibstandarte re-enactment unit (part of Vierte Zug, in Texas). I have been in the hobby for three years, however my interest for the hobby has existed since the fifth grade!
Currently I am attending college in the hopes I can earn my doctorate in History (World War II, Third Reich, Military), I do have an extreme passion for history (not just World War II) as I am also a frequenter of antiquity (Kingdom/Republic of Rome). I am currently looking to get in contact with veterans of the German military during the era we so enjoy, if anyone would be willing to put me in contact with these gentlemen we enjoy studying/interviewing I would be indebted. While I am not a fluent speaker of the German language, I plan on remedying that this coming fall when I begin taking formal classes and finally start putting those programs to use!
