Re: STG 44 for sale!

For all those that are wondering about customs and such within the EU, I'm willing to go to Germany and send the STG-44 from there. So that means no customs within the EU and that includes England (As stated in DHL). That means shipping to most EU countries will be €20.- Knowing that postage hurts, ...

Re: Officers Bergmutze by Erel( R Lubstien)

It's well known yes, I guess my real question is if they're willing to order a batch made without the pipping.

Re: Officers Bergmutze by Erel( R Lubstien)

wow, very nice indeed, could one get those without the offcer's pipping though? I would like the gabardine one, but I'm doing a prewar impression so that means no pipping. I think there would be a lot more buyers for that version as it wasn't until 1943 that one could wear the pipping, as stated abo...

Re: Officers medal ribbon bars

Could one request some custom made ones such as with the Mar Merit and the Atlantic wall medal, or something like that? Not many people reenact generals and that one up there is fit for a Field Marschall...maybe in 40 years when I can pass the look

Unit transfers

OK, question: How common were unit transfers before the war started. I'm not just talking about from infantry to infantry. I'm talking about something more precise such as Luftwaffe to Gebirgsjäger. How plausible does this sound: Luftwaffe air crew radio operator who served in the Condor legion who ...

Re: Gebirgsjäger boots wanted....BADLY!!!!

Like I said: the Swiss boots would be fine, but even if I do live here in Switzerland, the largest I can find so far is a 44, still too small :x There's a second hand store that sells them for about £20 each and they have all the sizes from 40 to 44, I feel like I'm being openly mocked by them!

Re: Luftwaffe Officer breeches and Enlisted trousers

Hello again Andy, I've got a size 35.2 (I ordered a 34...but some companies are a bit larger...) inch waist set of Luftwaffe Officer's breeches in very nice condition but have been worn and faded slightly to look original. I'm a tall guy, so they should fit you. They are a very nice pair and the bot...

Re: Luftwaffe Officer Visor Cap Size 58 (must be garbardine)

Hi Andy,

Ok, I know you said not wool, but still...

I've got a top quality, Luftwaffe officer's visor cap that has been barely used but I have a applied a worn look to it, and it's slowly saging like a crusher. It's a very nice copy.

Let me know if you're interested.

Re: Gebirgsjäger boots wanted....BADLY!!!!

Yes, I guess I should add that, I'm looking for something within Europe. I'm a student still with not too much cash to use wisely on my hobby...and I get a big frown (From an otherwise, very nice girl) every time a package comes in...

Gebirgsjäger boots wanted....BADLY!!!!

Hello, I'm looking for a pair of Gebirgsjäger boots, most likely the appropriate Swiss mountain boots with the cleats. I'm looking for a euro size 45 or 46, so you can see where my problem is! Can anyone help me here for where to buy them or if they have a pair they are willing to sell? Cheers! Arthur

Re: What do your Family think of reenacting?

Mostly I get made fun of while "playing dress up". I don't mention it to the girls, but sometimes it slips...doesn't go over too well here in Switzerland as most of the people dislike the Germans as it is, I already get a lot of booing while supporting the Deutsche Fussball Bund...so WWII ...

Jäger Fest

Hello! I'm in the process of putting together an event in the Swiss Alps in the southern sector. I've opened up a forum to discuss this like Project Edelweiss. It's still far from being complete and I have a lot of information to add but as the work is in process I welcome all to come take a peek an...

Re: Tanaka Mauser Gew. 33/40 Mountain Rifle AEG replica

Hello,

I'm also looking for something of the sort, could someone kindly also send me the link. Would it be possible to ship the gun to Switzerland? I'm a bit hesitant with customs...has anyone else had any similar experiences?

Thanks,

Arthur

Re: Michael Gaißmair winter training 2012

Hello, I'm very interrested in coming too. What are you doing mainly and what is the dress code in terms of what can one not bring or is it pretty open being 1944. As for weapons are you using blanks, airsoft, or anything one has so long as it's a WWII gun and goes with the uniform (For example a Ge...
