Re: M40/41 6 Button tunic

The tunic you are referring to is commonly referred to as the 'M41', introduced on May 26th 1941. In addition to the sixth button, the lower pocket construction was also simplified (to the style seen on M42 and later tunics also). The tunics were manufactured with mouse grey generic insignia as appr...

Re: "Y" Belt Harness Question

'Officially' belt hooks were withdrawn from use for infantry on April 18th 1939 (HM 39 No. 328), however they are still seen throughout the war, and the tunics were still equipped to take them even on the M44.

Re: SS M43 v. Heer M43

Additional differences:

SS 2 belt hook holes, Heer 3.
SS Liner reaches to bottom of tunic, Heer not.
SS Collar bigger
SS Belt hook supports are loops, Heer single straps

So yea, choose what you want to portray and pick the right tunic, always best to portray the rule not the exception

Re: M36 Officer Feldbluse, Kradmantel, K98 Bayonet -Price Up

This is your chance to own a very rare original size 68 M42 helmet shell. The helmet is in stable usable condition and has been used until recently for historical reenactments. The helmet has been restored in a Normandy camouflage scheme with added texture as was common practice in the later stages ...
