You need to develop a back story for the soldbuch - essentially you are creating a false document so if it's to be passable, you need the detail behind it. are you able to produce them with the correct information filled in, I tried looking for it on the web but could only find heer FG info not luftwaffe, also what kind of photo do I need for them, what does it need to show, what uniform should i be in etc... I can probably fill them in - the examples...

If you lie the sleeve flat with the seam at the bottom (as though you were going to press a crease into the top of it) then position the cuff title so the text is central and parallel with the cuff, 14.5cm from the cuff hem (should be just about the split in the sleeve), then it will be about the ri...

The original I used to have just had a very heavy gauge piece of wire bent to shape on it. Could have been a field repair, though it didn't look dissimilar to this:

Wartime ones didn't have a strap on them as the vehicles had a bracket for storing them. Having said that, I've seen originals in photos with a length of cord/string/leather around the users wrist or hung up.
