For me it looks too bright..with 'fieldgrey' ive meant that 'fieldgrey' for equipment stuff..

Thats right as well! ..I'm assuming they're all wartime originals.. Right..exept of one, all original/unissiued.. ..but for example my last mess tin was consisting of different makers (C&CW / MN) but it has both the same year "37"..and has 99% same early fieldgrey painting. For me thats a Good examp...

'Total matt' isnt that optimal i guess..as originals mostly are 'semi-gloss'.
