Right..normally you could have Y-Straps with hidden stitching around the rivet.. But difficult to find such a pair..

It was introduced in April 1939 (Source mp44.nl)

So if you display a infantry or motorcycle (bicycle) unit, the Koppeltragegestell would be common.

Well..the german soldier from that time was very inventive with fieldmodifications, as known. My guess would be..a soldier with m40's just has seen the loops on the m43 of a comrade and easily sews some cloth stripe on his trousers to get the same comfort :wink: .
