WW2 Reichsbahn

My new direction in Reenactment. After selling my Waffen-SS uniforms and equipment,
I have combined my interests of WW2 and Reichsbahn (German Railways).
This is a realistic impression for someone of my age group.

Re: I do not wear a cufftitle

I see what you mean about the boots Rod, I never gave it much thought before.
I just thought he had big feet. There are no clues on the reverse of the picture,
indeed, Mr Lemmen never talked much, it was mostly his wife that I had contact to.

I do not wear a cufftitle

Why must every Waffen-SS impression include a cufftitle? 50% of Waffen-SS soldiers did not have a cufftitle, many units did not have one. I have burned my "Florian Geyer" cufftitle ( for reasons I do not wish to go into on a forum). The result of it is that I now do not wear a cufftitle on my tunic,...

Re: Impressions based on real people?

Does anyone here reenact an actual person?
I reenacted Alfred Minchin for several years (with the permission of his grandaughter Katie)
I only stopped recently because I am now too old to continue with it.

In "Explosiv Weekend" (RTL German TV) a report about the War and Peace show in Beltring, Kent in England.
